WooCommerce Installation Guide – Rendr

This guide will walk you through installing and configuring the Rendr WooCommerce plugin so you can offer Rendr delivery options at checkout and automatically book deliveries.

Plugin Installation

To install Rendr’s WooCommerce plugin:

Download the latest Rendr WooCommerce plugin (current version: 1.4.0).
Log in to your WordPress Admin Panel.
Navigate to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
Upload the Rendr plugin ZIP file and click Install Now.
Once installed, click Activate Plugin.

Configuration

You can access Rendr’s configuration settings via:

WordPress Admin → Plugins → Installed Plugins → Rendr → Settings

Rendr Credentials & UAT Mode

Enter the credentials provided by your Rendr contact:

Brand ID
Store ID (optional)
Client ID
Client Secret

You may also enable UAT Mode to test your configuration in a sandbox environment before going live.

Auto Delivery Booking

When enabled, Rendr deliveries will be automatically booked for orders placed using Rendr as the delivery method.

When disabled, store managers must manually book Rendr deliveries from the WooCommerce Orders page.

Authority To Leave

Enabled: Orders will be left in a safe place if the recipient is not available.
Disabled: Deliveries require handover to the recipient. If no one is available, the order will be returned to the sender.

Default Product Dimensions & Weights

To ensure accurate pricing and delivery time estimates, all products must have:

Length
Width
Height
Weight

If not all products are configured, you can define fallback default dimensions and weight in the Rendr settings.

We strongly recommend setting dimensions and weight at the product level to avoid pricing discrepancies and delivery delays.

Specific Product Types

Select any applicable special product types.
When enabled, all orders will be created with these delivery considerations applied.

Shipping Zones

After completing the configuration:

Navigate to WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping → Shipping Zones.
Open each eligible zone.
Ensure Rendr Delivery is enabled as a shipping method.

Rendr must be active in all zones where you want customers to see Rendr delivery options.

Testing

Add a product to your cart.
Proceed to checkout.
Enter a valid delivery address.

You should see Rendr delivery rates displayed at checkout.

Troubleshooting

If Rendr rates are not appearing:

Enable Debug Mode in the Rendr configuration page.
Verify product dimensions and weights are populated.
Confirm Shipping Zones are correctly configured.
