Enabling Two-Factor Authentication

To enhance the security of your account, Rendr supports Two Factor Authentication (2FA).

Follow the steps below to enable 2FA using an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy.

Step 1: Access the Portal

1. Log in to the Rendr V2 Dashboard.

2. Navigate to the Team section from the main menu.

Step 2: Manage MFA Settings

1. Click More Actions next to your user profile.

2. Select Manage MFA.

3. You will be prompted to enter your account password for verification.

Step 3: Configure MFA

1. A QR code will be displayed on the screen.

2. Open your preferred MFA app (e.g., Google Authenticator) and scan the QR code.

   • If you're unable to scan the code, you can manually enter the secret key shown below the QR code into your app.

Step 4: Verify Setup

1. After scanning or entering the code, your MFA app will generate a 6-digit code.

2. Enter this code into the portal to complete the setup.

Once enabled, you’ll be required to enter a valid MFA code when logging in to your account.

🔧 Disabling 2FA

To disable Two Factor Authentication:

1. Navigate to the Team section in the V2 Dashboard.

2. Click More Actions > Manage MFA.

3. Enter your password and current MFA code when prompted.

4. Select Disable two-step authentication.

Note: Disabling 2FA will reduce the security of your account. We strongly recommend keeping it enabled.
