There may be cases where a delivery needs to be updated so more accurate details are provided to complete the booking. This includes updating delivery type, customer information or pickup information.
The below guide explains the various fields that can be changes, and steps to successfully updating a delivery.
Only users with certain permissions are able to edit a delivery. If you do not have permissions, but would like to be able to edit an order, please contact your Account Manager or Rendr's Support team.
Deliveries can only be updated prior to booking a delivery.
If you can't see the edit delivery icons, please contact your account admin or Rendr's support team.

How to Edit a Delivery
On the Rendr portal, there is an edit icon the Delivery, Collection, Products and Parcels components. Press the edit icon to show the editable fields.
Editing Delivery Details
Delivery details including Delivery From, Delivery To and Customer Details can be edited by selecting the 'Delivery' component's edit icon.
After updating the fields, select 'Confirm Changes' to save your inputs.
Editing Product Details
Product details including Product Name, SKU, Quantity and Price can all be updated. Additional products can be added, and products can be removed.
After updating the fields, select 'Confirm Changes' to save your inputs.
Editing Parcel Details
Parcel details including Parcel Type, Quantity, Width, Height, Length and Weight can all be updated.
NOTE: Additional parcel quantity, weights and dimensions may incur a greater delivery fee than originally quoted.
After updating the fields, select 'Confirm Changes' to save your inputs.
Adding Special Delivery Requirements
Additional delivery requirements can be added to a delivery prior to booking. These requirements include ID Check, Tailgate, Proof of Age, and other instructions.
Editing Collection Time & Delivery Type
To edit the time the order is ready to be collected or delivery type, press the edit icon in the Collection component to change the order time.
Once the time has been updated, you will be able to get a new quote based on your new collection time by pressing 'Show delivery options'.
Select your preferred delivery method and continue to the confirmation step.
Confirming Delivery Updates
Once fields have been updated, a new quote is required to be request and confirmed. This is because updates made may be cheaper, or more expensive than initially quoted.
