1. Overview
The Rendr + Starshipit integration connects your shipping and fulfilment workflow in Starshipit with Rendr’s domestic delivery services in Australia.
With this integration, you can:
Generate packing slips and shipping labels through Starshipit
Auto-correct and validate delivery addresses
Offer branded tracking and delivery notifications
Book Rendr deliveries directly when you fulfil orders
This integration is designed for Australian merchants who want to streamline delivery fulfilment and label creation while leveraging Rendr’s express and flexible delivery options.
What you’ll need
Before you begin, make sure you have:
A Rendr merchant account
Starshipit access with permission to add and configure couriers

The following Rendr credentials (provided during onboarding):
Client ID
Client Secret
Tenant ID
Store ID
2. How It Works (High-Level)
This integration connects Starshipit’s shipping platform to Rendr’s delivery system.
Starshipit sends order and shipping details to Rendr when a delivery is created
Rendr returns available delivery products and books the delivery
Starshipit manages packing slips, labels, and address validation
Rendr handles delivery fulfilment and tracking
Once configured, your team can select Rendr as a courier when fulfilling orders in Starshipit.
3. Installation Steps
Step 1 – Log into Starshipit
Open your Starshipit dashboard
Ensure you have permissions to manage couriers
Step 2 – Add Rendr as a Courier
In Starshipit, go to Settings → Couriers
Click Add a new Courier
Search for or select Rendr
Step 3 – Enter Your Rendr Credentials
In the Rendr courier setup section, enter the credentials provided by your Rendr Implementation Partner:
Field meanings:
Client ID: Connects Starshipit to Rendr securely
Client Secret: Authorises delivery lookups and bookings
Tenant ID: Identifies your business account in Rendr
Store ID: Identifies the specific store or location
Step 4 – Save and Test
Click Save
Click Test to ensure it works
Success looks like:
Starshipit confirms the connection
No credential errors are shown
Step 5 – Enable Rendr Products

After a successful test, click Configure All Product Codes
This action enables all Rendr delivery options
You can remove any unwanted options later using the Delete action

4. Configuration
Product Codes
Once enabled, the Rendr delivery products appear when booking orders in Starshipit.
FAST – 3 Hour Delivery
FLEXIBLE – Same Day Delivery
STANDARD – Overnight or interstate delivery
You can remove specific products in the Starshipit courier settings if needed.
Special Delivery Flags
Starshipit allows you to flag orders that require special handling. These flags ensure Rendr applies the correct delivery procedures.
Tobacco
To flag tobacco orders:
Go to Settings → Couriers → Rendr → Advanced
Enable the Tobacco flag
Or use Starshipit’s rules engine to set it per order
This ensures Rendr applies tobacco-specific delivery requirements.
Alcohol
To flag alcohol orders:
Go to Settings → Couriers → Rendr → Advanced
Enable the Alcohol flag
Or flag on a per-order basis within the order details
This ensures alcohol delivery requirements are applied.
5. Testing the Integration
Testing confirms that orders can be sent successfully through Starshipit and Rendr.
Step 1 – Create a Test Shipment
In Starshipit, create a new shipment as you normally would
Select Rendr as the courier
Complete the shipment details and save
Success looks like:
Shipment is created without errors
A Rendr delivery ID or confirmation appears in Starshipit
Step 2 – Check Labels and Packing Slips
Generate or preview the packing slip and shipping label
Confirm the label contains the correct delivery details
Ensure the packing slip matches the order information
6. Troubleshooting
Common Issues
Issue: Reference Error
Cause: The order reference in Starshipit is less than 3 characters
Resolution: Update the reference or order number to be at least 3 characters
Issue: Address Validation Error
Cause: The delivery address entered is not valid
Resolution: Update the delivery address and ensure it meets postal standards
Issue: Object Reference
Cause: A carrier returned an error due to the delivery address
Resolution: Verify and correct the delivery address
Issue: Address2 Is Invalid
Cause: The Address2 field is too long
Resolution: Make sure Address2 is within 52 characters
