1. Overview
The Rendr + BigCommerce integration allows you to offer Rendr delivery services directly in your BigCommerce checkout.
Once installed, your customers can select Rendr delivery options such as Fast, Flexible, or Standard while placing an order.
This integration helps merchants:
Provide flexible delivery choices at checkout
Display live Rendr delivery pricing
Reduce manual delivery booking work
Offer faster and more predictable delivery options
After the integration is connected:
BigCommerce sends delivery requests and order details to Rendr
Rendr returns delivery rates and available services
Customers select Rendr delivery options during checkout
Prerequisites
Before installing, ensure your BigCommerce store supports third-party shipping providers.

2. How It Works (High-Level)
The integration connects BigCommerce checkout to Rendr’s delivery platform.
BigCommerce sends order, address, and parcel details to Rendr
Rendr returns available delivery services and pricing
The customer selects a Rendr delivery option at checkout
Rendr fulfils the delivery once the order is placed
Delivery rates and availability are controlled through the Rendr app settings.
3. Installation Steps
Step 1 – Install the Rendr BigCommerce App
Open the Rendr BigCommerce App install link
Click Get This App
Review the requested permissions
Approve installation
Success looks like:
Rendr appears in your installed apps list
Step 2 – Open Rendr Configuration
In BigCommerce Admin, go to Apps
Open the Rendr app
Navigate to the Configuration page
Step 3 – Enter Your Rendr API Credentials
Enter the credentials provided by your Rendr Implementation Partner and save your changes:
Credentials:
Client ID
Client Secret
Store ID
Tenant ID
⚠️ Keep these values private. Do not share them publicly.
4. Configuration
The Rendr BigCommerce app includes configuration options that control checkout delivery behaviour.
Delivery Types
You can choose which Rendr delivery services are shown to customers at checkout.
Available options:
FAST – Delivered in 30 minutes to 3 hours
FLEXIBLE – Same Day delivery
STANDARD – Overnight or Interstate delivery
You may enable or disable individual services depending on your offering.
Success looks like:
Only selected delivery types appear at checkout
Packing & Shipping Preferences
These settings control how parcels are created and how many shipping labels are generated.
Pack Together
All order items are packed into a single parcel
One label is generated
Best for standard shipments
Pack Separately
Each item is packed into its own parcel
Multiple labels are generated
Useful for bulky or fragile items
Default Package Sizes
Items are packed into predefined container sizes
Multiple parcels may be created automatically
Ensures accurate parcel expectations for carriers
⚠️ Incorrect packing configuration may cause pickup or pricing issues.
5. Go Live – Enable Rendr at Checkout
To display Rendr delivery rates at checkout, Rendr must be enabled as a shipping provider.
In BigCommerce Admin, go to Store Setup
Click Shipping
Edit the Australia shipping zone
Find the Rendr provider
Click Connect
Save your changes
Success looks like:
Rendr delivery rates appear during checkout
6. Testing the Integration
Testing confirms Rendr rates and services are available to customers.
Step 1 – Place a Test Order
Add a product to your cart
Proceed to checkout
Enter a valid Australian delivery address
Expected result:
Rendr delivery options appear as shipping methods
Step 2 – Complete Checkout
Select a Rendr delivery option
Place the order
Success looks like:
The order is placed successfully
Rendr is selected as the shipping method
7. Troubleshooting
Common Issues
Issue: Rendr delivery options do not appear at checkout
Cause: Rendr carrier is not connected in the shipping zone
Resolution:
Go to Store Setup → Shipping
Edit the relevant zone
Click Connect next to Rendr
Save changes
Issue: Authentication error in Rendr app
Cause: Client ID, Client Secret, Store ID, or Tenant ID is incorrect
Resolution:
Re-open the Rendr app configuration
Copy/paste credentials again
Save and refresh the page
